Man in Pennsylvania arrested after road rage that leads to stabbing

Two drivers in Pennsylvania engaged in a road rage encounter on Monday that left one man stabbed to death and another in police custody, authorities said. Both men were driving south on Route 61 in Schuylkill County around 2 p.m. when the strife started, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The suspect was later recognized as 29-year-old Tamiir Ion Whitted, the outlet reported. Whitted was facing multiple charges, counting first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and aggravated assault.

The suspect told reporters that he should have thought of his family before starting the trouble with someone else. He added that he only defended himself against an older man.

Police said that the found body was of 38-year-old George Marcincin with numerous stab wounds. He was also announced dead at the scene.
