Face-to-face learning system suspended in Wayne State University as the COVID cases continue to rise

As of April 3, 2021, Michigan Covid-19 cases rises up to 692,206 and death toll now at 16,128. In-person instructions is temporarily suspended at Wayne State University due to the sudden rise in coronavirus cases.

All activities that includes sports and competitions are postponed. They will allow to continue practices after 10 days if 80% of the athletes have fully vaccinated.

The only exception for the suspension are licensed health professionals in the College. Cafés are only allowed to have take-out dining services.

Campus libraries will still be open but will be subjected to confinements. The College affirmed that they will return to the campus after 10 days and see how things have changed in order.
