Full Arenas for 2021-22, NBA expects additional fans this season

NBA reportedly expects a full arena next season. They feel good about the possibility that the maximum number of fans each team has will attend the next season's games.

Thanks to the rollout of the vaccine for Covid, more than two-thirds of the NBA's teams are allowing a limited number of fans to watch their games this season. The Phoenix Suns announced that they increased the number of attendees to 3,000 in February, Milwaukee Bucks to 3,280 in March.

Fans will have to download the Clear app on their mobile phones to upload a document and take a selfie with the proof of a negative Covid-19 test. NBA is expecting the arenas to have as close to maximum capacity as possible in the coming months.

Fans will also have to answer a health survey question in the app to determine whether they will be allowed to watch the game. The increase in capacity will still be on a case-to-case basis as it will depend on every state and local health regulation.
