On Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg reported that the social media app is working on new tools to help users monetize content. These include a marketplace that will connect brands with Instagramers whose material fits the audiences the brands want to target.
Currently, Instagram has several strategies of paying creators to publish sponsored content. What's new is that the platform will play a more dynamic part as a link between sponsors and emerging and established influencers.
During the same broadcast, Mark Zuckerberg declared that Instagram will also execute "creator shops." These are virtual stores where creators can offer their items to users directly.
In addition, the billionaire tycoon announced a partner marketplace that would permit creators to get a share of the deals of the items they suggest in their posts. Last year, the company introduced Facebook Shops and Instagram Shops, which permit businesses to offer directly to users.
